The Singapore Cruise Centre will move to a new location at HarbourFront starting July 2026, offering modern amenities for travelers.

Introducing the Singapore Cruise Centre

Starting July 2026, ferry and cruise passengers departing from Singapore will have a new starting point at the Singapore Cruise Centre. This new location, situated at HarbourFront, promises a more convenient and modern experience for travelers.

The Relocation Process

The relocation will happen in two phases. The first phase kicks off on July 7, 2026, with the launch of Batam Fast Ferry at the new terminal. Following this, other ferry operators such as Horizon Fast Ferry, Majestic Fast Ferry, Sindo Ferry, and Indo Falcon Shipping & Travel will transition to the new site starting July 15, 2026.

Changes to Schedules and Destinations

Passengers can rest assured that routes, departure times, and destinations will remain unchanged. Popular ports such as Batam Centre, Harbour Bay, Sekupang, Tanjung Balai, Gold Coast, and Nirup Island will still be served as before. Travelers are advised to arrive early to familiarize themselves with the check-in process at the new location.

Getting to the New Centre

There are no changes to how you can reach the departure point. If you’re using the HarbourFront MRT station, Exit B will lead you directly to the terminal via a sheltered walkway. You can also walk from VivoCity to the terminal, making it just as easy to grab a bubble tea before your trip.

New Amenities at the Terminal

With the opening of the new terminal, passengers will enjoy a host of new amenities, including modern technology services and various facilities to enhance their travel experience. There will be food and beverage counters, shops, and currency exchange services to help travelers prepare before boarding the ferry.

Important Information for Vietnamese Travelers

For Vietnamese passengers, traveling to Singapore currently does not require a visa for stays of less than 30 days. You can fly directly from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) or Hanoi (HAN) to Singapore, with round-trip fares ranging from 3,000,000 to 5,000,000 VND depending on the booking time. Singapore uses the Singapore Dollar (SGD), which is approximately 17,000 VND for 1 SGD. Don’t forget to check the latest travel regulations and changes before your departure.

Conclusion

The expansion of infrastructure at the Singapore Cruise Centre promises to provide a better experience for travelers. Get ready for your trip to enjoy the new amenities at this upgraded terminal. Remember to plan for an early arrival to make the most of your journey!
