Experience Life in the Heart of Mexico's Wine Country

If you're searching for a serene getaway in Mexico's wine valley, look no further than LAR | Valle de Guadalupe. This private villa is nestled right in the midst of active vineyards, allowing you to immerse yourself in the tranquil countryside, surrounded by lush green vines and fruit-laden trees.

Unique Design at LAR

The home here is like a work of art with its minimalist open design. There’s no front door; instead, you step directly into the pool area and main terrace. The living room is airy, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to stunning views of the surroundings. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, and outside, there’s a BBQ area along with a dining table.

Winters in Valle de Guadalupe can get quite chilly at night, but don’t worry; there’s a cozy fireplace and a hot tub to keep you warm. On the opposite side of the house, there are four bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. With a total of six beds, the villa can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. The master bedroom boasts large windows that fully open up to the vineyard views, bringing the beauty of nature right into the space.

Entertainment and Relaxation

Beyond the pool area, there are plenty of recreational activities available, including a game room with a ping pong table and various board games. On the second floor, you’ll find an art room complete with a piano and a carefully curated collection of books. The entire space at LAR feels like a private sanctuary, completely secluded from the outside world.

Exploring Around Valle de Guadalupe

No visit would be complete without indulging in some wine tasting. Along the Ruta de Vino (Wine Route), you’ll discover over 100 wineries, many of which offer tasting services and tours of their cellars. Additionally, there’s no shortage of fantastic restaurants, ranging from Michelin-starred establishments to casual outdoor eateries serving fresh local cuisine.

If you’re looking for a change of scenery, the coastal city of Ensenada is just a 45-minute drive away, where you can savor fresh seafood and enjoy breathtaking ocean views. Be sure to check the opening hours of businesses, as many places are closed from Monday to Wednesday.

Getting to Valle de Guadalupe

Valle de Guadalupe is easily accessible if you're coming from Southern California. The drive from San Diego takes about two to three hours, depending on traffic and wait times at the border. The nearest airport is Tijuana International Airport, located about an hour and a half to two hours away by car. It’s advisable to have your own vehicle or rent a car to easily explore the valley, as public transportation options are limited.

Your trip will be even more exciting if you choose to drive along the coastal road (Mexico 1) one way and take the inland Ruta del Vino (Highway 3) on the return. Both routes are incredibly scenic and offer a completely different perspective of the beautiful landscapes here.
