A Fresh Culinary Experience at Hillion Mall
From February 2nd to the end of March, the Kopitiam food court at Hillion Mall underwent a makeover. After weeks of renovations, the food court has been completely transformed, now featuring a total of 25 brand-new stalls!
Gone is the old, traditional setup; the new food court boasts a modern design with floor-to-ceiling windows, warm wooden tones, and lush greenery, giving it an upscale hotel vibe. I took the time to explore this revamped area, and here are some of the stalls that caught my interest.
Unwind with Famous Popiah
Ann Chin Popiah has made its debut here, consistently earning the Michelin Plate award from 2022 to 2025. You can enjoy their signature Popiah or vegetarian versions starting at just S$2.70 each. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more luxurious, try the shrimp Popiah for S$3.50 or the Sushi Popiah with shrimp for S$4.50.
But it’s not just about the rolls; there are also some delightful snacks like Cassava Cake (S$2), Kueh Pie Tee with shrimp (S$4.80 for four), and Chee Cheong Fun with Chai Poh (S$3.50).

Experience Shabu-shabu in the Heart of the City
If you're craving a bit of shabu-shabu amidst the food court hustle, Shabu Days is the perfect spot. This stall offers various meat sets, including Beef (S$19.90), Pork (S$16.90), and Chicken (S$14.90). You can choose from three basic broths: Bonito Kombu, Sukiyaki with sterilized egg, or Herbal Broth.
For an extra S$1, you can switch to a tangy tomato broth or a spicy Umami option. Each set comes with Calrose rice or ramen noodles, along with a Yasai Garden Bowl and a 3-Treasure Bowl.
Wake Up Early and Savor Deliciousness
Crave has opened its first stall in the food court, with dishes starting at S$5.90 for Salmon Nasi Lemak, and going up to S$9.90 for options like Spiced Chicken Nasi Lemak or Golden Crunch.
From 7 AM to 11 AM, this stall also serves a range of Bee Hoon breakfast dishes, including Salmon (S$4.90), Selar Fish (S$5.20), and Chicken (S$5.20).
Reviving Old Memories
If you were a regular at the old food court, you’ll still find some familiar stalls like MS Inasal serving Filipino cuisine and Pepper Lunch Express. With 18 other new stalls to explore, make sure to visit the Kopitiam Food Hall at Hillion Mall and discover them for yourself!
I believe that exploring new dishes is always more exciting than revealing everything upfront, don’t you think?
