Upon entering the new terminal, passengers will notice a unified layout where baggage claim and check-in processes are consolidated into a single area. Instead of navigating between two terminal sections, travelers can seamlessly move from check-in to security, their gate, baggage claim, and transportation options all in one convenient location.
The service system has also seen improvements, with more dining options and comfortable waiting areas. Lamdine noted that the new terminal will boast a variety of food and retail choices, along with spacious lounges for passengers to relax in.
Distinctive Art Program
The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena airport authority has also expanded opportunities for local artists with a new art program for the terminal, offering $5,000 per displayed piece for a duration of 12 months. The terminal's design, titled "The Icon," is inspired by Hollywood and the film industry, creating a unique experience for travelers.

Enhanced Transportation Connectivity
In terms of transportation, Hollywood Burbank Airport is connected to two rail stations: Burbank Airport-South and Burbank Airport-North. The airport also provides a free bus service between the terminal and the two rail stations, making it easy for passengers to travel without needing a rental car. Lamdine remarked, "No airport in California has the rail connectivity we do." This means passengers can reduce their need for rental cars, especially if they’re heading to downtown Los Angeles or the San Fernando Valley.
