This stall is run by Roy Ong, a passionate cook dedicated to showcasing Sarawak cuisine to the Singaporean community. The menu here features not only Sarawak noodles but also beloved local dishes like Bak Chor Mee (4.50 SGD) and Fishball Soup (3.50 - 4.50 SGD).

The first dish I tried was the traditional Kolo Mee (4.50 SGD), highly recommended by Roy. The noodles are freshly prepared, with a delightful chewiness, topped with crispy fried garlic and fragrant oil. The sauce is perfectly balanced, enhancing the flavors without being overwhelming. I also added a bit of Zhong Pin’s signature chili sauce for an extra kick!

Exploring Sarawak Fusion Laksa

After enjoying the Kolo Mee, I couldn’t resist trying the Sarawak Fusion Laksa (5.50 - 6.50 SGD). Unlike typical laksa, this dish features a rich brown broth with a texture reminiscent of mee siam. Its flavor profile is rich and varied, combining ingredients like shredded chicken, eggs, and vibrant fresh prawns. It’s definitely a unique experience for anyone who loves spicy noodles.
