Park Hyatt St. Kitts truly impresses with its expansive space, low-rise design, and breathtaking views of Nevis. I had the pleasure of staying here in 2024 and 2025, with my most recent visit being a delightful experience. After three visits, I've noticed many strengths in this resort, but there are also areas that could use some improvement.

Beach Not Quite the Traditional White Sand

While the beach here may not boast the classic fine white sand, it remains quite pleasant and is far less crowded than many other destinations. I genuinely enjoy the relaxing atmosphere here, which feels a world apart from the Hyatt Regency Aruba, where I found the vibe to be more like a well-oiled machine. Here, the environment is much more comfortable and inviting.

Amazing Amenities

The pools at Park Hyatt are a significant highlight. The main pool is fantastic, and the adults-only pool offers a wonderfully zen experience. I love the sense of tranquility I get while here; regardless of how busy the hotel is, it consistently provides a relaxing and comfortable vibe.

Improved Service

Although the service hasn't yet reached the high standards expected from Park Hyatt, it's clear that it has improved since my last visit two years ago. Every interaction I had via WhatsApp was handled promptly and thoughtfully. The staff here is always friendly and enthusiastic, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

Challenges with Accessibility

The resort is quite remote, about 1,271 miles from Miami. Flight options are limited, with only a few routes from New York, Miami, and select other cities during peak travel seasons. If I lived in New York or Miami, I would undoubtedly visit more frequently.

Beloved Kids' Club

A standout feature of my trip was the kids' club. My daughter has tried various play areas, but this one is her absolute favorite. The staff is fantastic, the activities are engaging, and there are both indoor and outdoor play areas specifically for kids. I’m thrilled that this made her vacation all the more enjoyable.

Dining Service Notes

Some guests have mentioned that food prices here are a bit high, but I find them reasonable for a luxury resort like Park Hyatt. Breakfast is a highlight, featuring a high-quality buffet along with menu options. Fresh juices and specialty coffee are also included.

Comfortable Accommodations

The hotel offers numerous suites at very reasonable rates when using accumulated points. My room was better maintained than during my previous stay, complete with a new sofa that was quite convenient. Honestly, my experience here can only improve with the care and upgrades the hotel has implemented.

Dining at Fisherman’s Village

Fisherman’s Village is a fantastic option for dinner, boasting a beautiful setting. I found the service here in the evening to be better than at Great House. Meanwhile, Stone Barn has expanded its menu to include more family-friendly options, no longer offering an adults-only menu.

Room for Improvement

If I had to point out any downsides, it would be minor details like the lack of 'do not disturb' signs or insufficient soap for the two sinks in the bathroom. Nevertheless, I appreciate the ability to place service requests via WhatsApp, which makes communication clearer.

A Bright Future Ahead

With a new executive director who has extensive industry experience, I feel optimistic that the service will continue to improve. While this place has sparked some debate due to the Park Hyatt brand, I genuinely love the atmosphere and the people here. I will definitely return and hope to see enhancements in my experience.
