Las Vegas Hotels Embrace All-Inclusive Offers

An interesting trend is emerging in Las Vegas hotels: a shift towards all-inclusive models, or at least something resembling them. Conrad Las Vegas announced a luxurious package early in the month. By the end of March, two MGM hotels also rolled out packages that include two nights' stay, meals, a selection of drinks, and entertainment, starting at just $330 for two guests.

The burning question is: will this trend stick around for the long haul?

Marriott Bonvoy Boosts Reward Points

In another noteworthy update, Marriott Bonvoy announced that guests with free night certificates can now top up with an additional 25,000 points, up from the previous 15,000. Hopefully, this will help you extend your enjoyable stays with those certificates!

On Maui, The Resort at Kapalua Bay is also set to transition to the St. Regis brand, showing that it’s not just Marriott that’s refreshing its offerings in Hawaii.

New Virgin Hotel Near Marrakech

Virgin Limited Edition is set to open a new hotel near Marrakech, Morocco. I had the chance to visit Marrakech for the first time and absolutely fell in love with the place. The new hotel will sit on nearly 25 acres and will feature 37 rooms, designed in the artisanal Moroccan style with traditional Berber influences.

This stunning location will boast three restaurants, a chef’s experience, a secret bar, and a Moroccan hammam, along with a swimming pool, horseback riding experiences, and a tennis court. I can’t wait to explore both hotels in Morocco on my next trip!

Lisa Vanderpump's New Hotel in Las Vegas

I’m eagerly looking forward to my trip to Las Vegas in September to see Dolly Parton and hopefully stay at Lisa Vanderpump’s The Vanderpump Hotel. This hotel is part of the Caesars Entertainment portfolio and marks Vanderpump's first property, having been transformed from the former Cromwell hotel.

With just 188 rooms, the boutique atmosphere of the hotel promises a different vibe compared to the towering resorts on The Strip. The Vanderpump Hotel is set to open in May, with rates starting at $139 per night.

Wellness Hotels and Interesting Data

Data shows that wellness resorts significantly contribute to improved health. Miraval Resorts and Spas, a brand under World of Hyatt, conducted surveys with guests before and after their stays. The results revealed that 62% of participants felt a reduction in stress even after 60 days post-stay.

This has me pondering whether I should indulge in a proper wellness retreat, although I’m a bit hesitant.

New Rooftop Bar at W New York Union Square

After a lengthy closure and a renovation costing up to $100 million, W New York - Union Square has reopened with a new rooftop bar offering stunning views of the NYC skyline, named Guardian. This is the only rooftop bar in Union Square and is sure to attract many guests looking to enjoy cocktails at sunset.

Renovations at a Rome Hotel

The Rome Cavalieri, one of Hilton's favorite properties, has announced a two-year renovation project to transform all guest rooms and suites. The project will be designed by Tihany Design and will draw inspiration from the rich colors and patterns of the Eternal City.

The hotel will remain operational throughout the renovation, with many new rooms expected to be ready for guests by next spring. I’m excited to see how this transformation unfolds!
