Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to stay at the Four Seasons Montreal during my exploration of this vibrant city. I've heard about the Four Seasons' reputation for years, but this was my first chance to experience it firsthand. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

Four Seasons is renowned for its exceptional customer service, and this hotel is no exception. I was immediately impressed by the luxurious amenities and the warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the property.

I managed to book my room at Four Seasons Montreal on the very day I arrived in the city, and I was lucky to find availability. The rate for a night here is around $500, but thanks to my Amex credit card and its perks, I ended up paying only about $200. This is definitely a smart way to save when booking a hotel!

Four Seasons Montreal is perfectly situated in the heart of the city, on Rue de la Montagne, right across from Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, a high-end department store. There are plenty of shops and eateries in the vicinity, especially along Saint Catherine Street. It’s just a 20-minute drive from Montreal Airport (YUL) to the hotel.

Luxurious Ambiance

Upon entering the hotel, I was warmly greeted by staff member Akash. They were incredibly friendly and helped me with my luggage to the lobby, which is located on the third floor. The lobby features a reception desk and a cozy seating area that makes you feel right at home.

The check-in process was quick, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a $100 CAD credit for breakfast and a $130 CAD credit for food and beverages. It’s always nice to have extra spending money!

Comfortable Accommodations

The room I was assigned was a deluxe room, measuring approximately 38-44 square meters. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, making me feel as if I was in a serene retreat. Additionally, the room included a dining table with two chairs and a wall-mounted TV, perfect for both work and relaxation.

The minibar was well-stocked with a Lavazza coffee machine, a kettle, and a variety of snacks and drinks. The bathroom was modernly designed, featuring a rain shower and BYREDO toiletries.

Noteworthy Amenities

On the sixth floor, the hotel boasts a gym and an indoor pool. The gym is open 24/7 and is fully equipped, ranging from treadmills to weightlifting machines. The indoor pool is stunning and available from 7 AM to 8:30 PM.

Nearby, there’s a changing area complete with a sauna and steam room, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring the city.

Culinary Delights at Four Seasons

Dining at Four Seasons Montreal is an integral part of the experience. All the restaurants are located on the third floor, including Marcus Restaurant + Terrace, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s not just a typical hotel restaurant; it’s a popular spot for many local diners as well.

I visited for brunch the following morning, and the food was truly exquisite, featuring a beautifully arranged bagel tower topped with smoked salmon and a variety of other dishes. It was a memorable culinary experience that I won’t forget!

Final Thoughts

Even though I only stayed for one night at Four Seasons Montreal, the impression the hotel left on me was profound. From the dedicated service to the comfortable ambiance, this is the ideal place for anyone visiting Montreal. If I ever have the chance to return, I will definitely book a stay here again.
