Madrid is a captivating city filled with delicious cuisine, stunning sights, and rich culture. Join me as we explore three wonderful days in this vibrant capital!
Kickstarting an Adventure
Madrid is not only the capital of Spain but also a city I've adored for a long time. This time, I decided to spend a full three days diving into its culinary delights and famous attractions. Madrid surely promises unforgettable experiences!
Where to Stay
I booked a room at Santo Mauro, a luxurious hotel nestled in a tranquil and beautiful setting. With its lush gardens and elegantly decorated rooms, it's the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the city. Another great option is Four Seasons Madrid, known for its exceptional service and unique Madrid atmosphere. If you're looking for something truly classy, Rosewood Villa Magna will not disappoint.
Day 1: Strolling and Tasting Delights
On my first morning in Madrid, I stopped by Alma Nomad Bakery for some fresh pastries. After that, I crossed the street to Rughara Haus, where I found an array of unique souvenirs from independent brands. I spent the morning strolling through Los Rosales, soaking in the fresh air of the city.
For lunch, I chose El Pedrusco, famous for its local dishes that are definitely worth trying. In the afternoon, I wandered around Contemporánea Condeduque, filled with interesting shops, before settling down at Amis for some delightful tapas. I had a fantastic time there in the evening, enjoying a few signature cocktails.
Day 2: Discovering Famous Landmarks
I started my day with a sweet breakfast at La Duquesita. Then, I couldn't miss the El Rastro flea market on Saturday. Browsing through the antique shops early in the morning was a wonderful experience; it wasn't too crowded, making it easy to find intriguing items.

At Casa Amadeo, I tried some snails while sitting on a sunny terrace. There’s nothing better than enjoying local delicacies while soaking in the charming atmosphere of Madrid.
Day 3: Relaxing and Immersing in Culture
On my final day, I dedicated time to savoring Madrid's culture. I began with a leisurely morning at a small café near my accommodation. Then, I took a stroll to art museums like Museo del Prado and Reina Sofia to admire incredible artworks.
No visit would be complete without indulging in traditional tapas. I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends at one of the city's most famous bars, featuring dishes that embody Madrid's culinary style.
